Live On...
David Hockney was born in Bradford, England, in 1937, he attended art school in London before moving to LA in the 1960s. In the 1970s Hockney began working in photography and created photo collages. He was a painter, printmaking, and photography. Hockney now live in LA after his return to England and remains there since 2013. Hockney was inspired by Wallace Stevens because of the various colors that he incorporates into his pictures.
The first picture that I did of Letty was framing because because of the grass below and the flowers above to frame her emotion in the show and the vibrancy of the flower brings out the emotion in her face. The second set of photos I took was leasing line because of the branches. I thought that the branch leading up to the leaves and then to the sky was interesting and colorful. To create these picture i uses small pieces of a space to make a bigger picture. I did this in photoshop by adjusting the scale of the picture and holding down shift to prevent the picture from getting distorted.
